ORTON-GILLINGHAM TEACHER AND DYSLEXIA SPECIALIST

Hello!
Every child deserves to experience the confidence that comes with reading. As a New Jersey educator with over a decade of experience in general education, special education, and reading intervention, I've dedicated my career to helping students who struggle and watching them thrive.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education from Towson University and a Master's in Literacy/Reading from Fairleigh Dickinson University. I am certified in New Jersey as an Elementary Educator, Special Educator (K–6), Reading Specialist, and Supervisor.
My specialty is structured literacy and Orton-Gillingham instruction. I completed my Orton-Gillingham and Dyslexia Specialist certifications through FDU's Center for Dyslexia Studies, followed by advanced training as an Orton-Gillingham Teacher Trainer — a role that allows me to supervise graduate students and teachers at the university level. All of this training involved over 1,000 hours of clinical work with teachers and students in grades K–8, delivered both in person and via Zoom. I am proud to hold dual certification from the International Dyslexia Association (IDA) and the International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council (IMSLEC).
Whether your child is a struggling reader, has been diagnosed with dyslexia, or simply needs extra support to build confidence in the classroom, I'd love to connect. Reach out today for a free initial consultation — I can't wait to meet your family!
